Grading
Grading for this class will be fairly straight forward.
Problem Sets – 70%
Problem sets will usually be comprised of the following:
- Assigned tasks or TODO’s
- Creative component
- Style
- Documentation
- Possible readings
- Smaller Labs
Problem sets can be resubmitted once if you are not happy with your grade, as long as the Problem Set is turned in by the deadline.
Problem sets that are turned in passed the deadline will not be marked points off for lateness.
You may submit a Problem Set up to two weeks late, after that as per school policy, no work will be taken into account. If you have any trouble please let me know as soon as possible, I will be glad to help.
Exams – 20%
There will be 4 Exams in Year 12.
- Midterm Semester 1
- End of Semester 1
- Paper 1 – End of Year
- Paper 2 – End of Year
There will be 3 Exams in Year 13
- Midterm Semester 1
- End Of Semester 1
- Mock Exam Semester 2
Quizzes and Extras – 10%
There will be periodical quizzes at the end of each unit. These quizzes can be retaken once if you are not happy with your grade.
